Hey all!
How was the rest of your Tuesday? I hope it was splendid and sun-shiney!
My work day finished up in a flash which was fiiiiine by me! After my early wake up call, I was looking forward to getting home and planking on the couch for a little while.
Before I left work, I grabbed a little snack…
And spent some time thinking about the upcoming Valentines day thanks to some kiddy crafts.
………….
When I got home, my planking on the couch dreams came true and I enjoyed a solid hour of mindless TV watching and blog surfing while this little lady tried to make up.
She succeeded BTW!
Lunch…
A little while later, it was time for some real lunch. Oh leftovers, how you make my life so easy! I finished up the remaining couple of ravioli and what was intended to be ‘just a few’ sweet potato fries.
Yeeeeaaahhhh I ate them all. Ooops!
Workout…
After letting my food settle for a good hour, I decided that I would make today a run day since I hadn’t felt any knee-niggling all night and day.
I laced up and hit the pavement. My goal was to just go at an easy pace, do 5 miles if possible but definitely stop if I was worried about my knee.
It was all gravy (except for the first mile when my legs felt like solid concrete) until mile 3, when a very faint pain came back in my left knee. I stopped right away and stretched it out before starting back up. It actually held up fine the rest of the way and I managed to finish the full 5 miles. Hooray!
Love checking off those shorter runs!
I changed into my slippers (thanks nan!), popped my legs up and iced the crap out of my knees and shins just to be safe, and then had a solid stretch session.
That was of course after making Chris take ridiculous running photos of me…
Yep, I’m a real treat!
………….
Now I’m showered and looking forward to some sweet Indian takeaway. It’s been wayyy too long!
Question;
Do you guys have your Valentines Day plans sorted yet? Anything fun happening??
.

I love that 5 miles is now one of your ‘shorter runs!’. V day will be dinner at Christy hill courtesy of a lovely Christmas present! what are your v day plans?
Don’t be fooled! They’re still a struggle, every one of them! Short or long. Ooo fun plans! We’ll be heading out to dinner too, at a place that completely changes their decor and menu for each season, can’t wait!
