Hi everyone, HAPPY FRIDAY!
Sorry for the distinct lack of posting yesterday, I was having some serious WordPress issues, but I’m back!
Dinner…
Dinner last night was a delicious feast! While talking to Chris’s parents on Skype, I also whipped up a huge loaded roasted veggie pizza (with meat, because me is a meat lovah!).
I love this meal because it’s so filling and loaded with tasty roasted veggies, chicken apple sausage and ham for protein and melty cheese for delicious goodness!
…………………
This morning was slow going at the McD house for me!
Yesterday was a rest day for me on the workout front in preparation for the 7 mile run I have on the agenda for today. It’s actually written down for this weekend, but Chris and I will be in Tahoe and I know I won’t have a chance to squeeze it in so I’ve shuffled things around a little bit.
I had planned to get my run out of the way this morning but slept through my alarm (doh!) so I now have it on the agenda for this afternoon before we head on up to Tahoe.
Breakfast…
While slow, this morning was also delicious!
Thanks to some prep last night, I had a nice filling bowl of mango Chobani overnight oats waiting for me!
I topped it with some sliced banana, walnuts and a splash of almond milk.
It’s a normal work day around here today but I’m excited for this weekend because I am going on a little ladies night to see Dreamgirls the musical! I can’t wait!
On another note, Chris and I have some pretty big exciting news on the horizon!! I’m not saying anything about it just yet, but stay tuned!
I hope you all have some awesome weekend plans!

Hey Fizz,
Just wondering how do you make overnight oats?
-Heather Jones
Hey!
Yes it’s so easy!
I just mix a 6oz chobani fruit on the bottom yogurt (you can use whatever yogurt you like) with about 2/3 cup of uncooked oats, 2 tbs of chia seeds and 1/2 cup of almond milk.
Pop it in a bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight.
Then mix it all up in the morning and add more milk if needed and fruit, nuts etc. Delicious!
WOW! That is really easy totally trying it. I need more keep me full breakfasts and snacks. Any tips?
I know hey?! SO easy!
